The Commerce & Management Department* proudly organized Brand-O-Mania, an exciting interdepartmental quiz that put students’ branding knowledge to the test! Four enthusiastic teams from different departments battled it out across four thrilling rounds, showcasing their expertise in logos, taglines, brand origins, and marketing strategies. Each round brought intense competition, engaging discussions, and valuable brand insights, making it a learning experience for all participants. After an exhilarating contest, *Team A from BCA* emerged as the ultimate winner, demonstrating exceptional knowledge and quick thinking! Kudos to all teams for their enthusiastic participation and a special congratulations to the winners! The event was a perfect blend of fun and learning, leaving students inspired to explore the dynamic world of branding.

The Commerce Department is pleased to announce the successful completion of its online webinar, ” *Helping People Manage Their Own Money,”* held on February 10, 2025, in *collaboration with SV Wealth Partners.* Renowned expert *Dwijen Dutta* shared valuable insights on effective financial management, covering key topics such as:-Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), Mutual Funds,NSE, Investment Avenues. The session empowered attendees with knowledge on navigating financial markets and resolving grievances through the SCORES (SEBI Complaints Redressal System) platform. We appreciate the enthusiastic participation of all attendees and thank SV Wealth Partners for their expertise and partnership.

Department of Hotel  Management successfully conducted an Industrial Visit to Hotel Park Plaza, Jalandhar. The visit was a great success, with all students receiving exceptional hospitality throughout the experience. During our time at the hotel, students had the opportunity to explore various departments and gain firsthand knowledge of hotel operations. We were fortunate to have informative sessions led by the HR Manager, Mr. Chandan Sharma, Training Executive Ms.Diva Sharma and the General Manager, Mr. Rahul Sharma.Their insights into the industry were invaluable and greatly appreciated by both students and faculty. This visit not only enhanced our students’ understanding of the hospitality sector but also reinforced the importance of practical exposure in their education.

Today, our students visited the *Mach Auto Expo 2025* at the Ludhiana Exhibition Centre in Sahnewal, Ludhiana. This four-day event, held from February 21 to 24, 2025, is India’s leading exhibition on machine tools and automation technology . The expo showcased a wide range of machine tools and automation products, including CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, grinders, presses, welding equipment, and automation systems . Our students had the opportunity to witness cutting-edge technology and interact with industry experts. The event featured over 550 exhibitors and was expected to attract around 40,000 visitors . It provided a platform for manufacturers and buyers to connect, share knowledge, and explore business opportunities. By attending the MachAuto Expo 2025, our students gained valuable insights into the latest trends and advancements in machine tools and automation technology. This experience will undoubtedly benefit those interested in pursuing a career in the industrial sector.

National Science Day Celebration: BMLS Department Visits Science City, KapurthalaThe Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences (BMLS) Department celebrated National Science Day by organizing an educational visit to Science City, Kapurthala. The event aimed to foster a spirit of scientific inquiry and curiosity among students.The visit was designed to provide students with a unique opportunity to explore the wonders of science and technology in an interactive and engaging manner. The objective was to: – Encourage students to develop a deeper understanding of scientific principles and their applications– Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills A group of BMLS students, accompanied by faculty members, visited Science City, Kapurthala. The students were thrilled to explore the various exhibits and displays showcasing cutting-edge scientific advancements.

“Today, Shree Hanumat IMT, in collaboration with the Inner Wheel Club Goraya, organized a rally to raise awareness about cervical cancer. The event featured a 3-kilometer marathon from Goraya Market to Grain Market, promoting awareness and education on this crucial health issue. District Chairman of the Inner Wheel Club, Ms. Manmohan Suri, delivered an informative lecture highlighting the importance of cervical cancer awareness and prevention. We were also honored to have Ms. Sheela Gupta present, representing the Hanumat Group. Her presence added significance to the event. Kudos to Shree Hanumat IMT and the Inner Wheel Club Goraya for their efforts in promoting health awareness and empowering the community!”

The event was graced by the presence of the Worthy Management, who inspired attendees with their wisdom and support.The festival was organized under the supervision of Dr. Shelly Rekhi Sharma, the Honorable Director. The carnival featured engaging stalls, energetic performances, fun rides, and delicious food, all contributing to a memorable experience for everyone.

A Tie and Dye, fridge magnet workshop was recently organized at Shree hanumat IMT, where students learned the art of transforming plain fabrics into personalized masterpieces.– The workshop focused on enhancing women’s skills and promoting traditional crafts. *where students can learn hands-on tie-dye techniques and explore their creativity. These workshops provide a platform for students to express themselves, learn new skills, and take home their personalized creations

The *BCA Department* of *Shree Hanumat Institute of Management & Technology* has successfully organized a *Cutting-Edge Technologies: Power of Generative AI* seminar in collaboration with Dortex AI. We were honored to host of the day *Mr. Surinder Kumar (Managing Director, Dortex AI), Mr. Jatin Kumar (Business Development Head), and Mr. Akash Kumar (Full Stack Developer, IIT Bhubaneswar alumnus)* as esteemed speakers. The seminar covered Full Stack Development, AI & Machine Learning, Python Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, and more, equipping students with valuable industry insights. Additionally, the Dortex AI team conducted one-on-one career counseling sessions for each student, focusing on Web Development, Online Marketing, Data Analytics, and Python with ML, providing personalized career guidance. We are proud to announce that *Kashish Pahwa*, a final-year BCA (6th Semester) student, has been selected to work on a live project with Dortex AI, marking a significant achievement for our students.
