AAROHAN ( आरोहण )  Annual Function 2026 –  Shree Hanumat IMT, Goraya       Aarohan 2026 Celebrated with Grandeur at Shree Hanumat Institute of Management & Technology The campus of Shree Hanumat Institute of Management & Technology (SHIMT) came alive with vibrant colors, music, and joy as the institution celebrated its much-awaited annual day “Aarohan 2026” on 27th March 2026. The event was graced with the divine blessings of Ms. Shanti Devi Gupta, the revered mother of the Chairman and President, whose presence added grace and positivity to the समारोह. Her blessings served as an inspiration for the entire SHIMT family, making the occasion even more special and memorable. The event drew a large gathering of students, faculty, parents, and distinguished guests, all eager to witness a spectacular showcase of talent, creativity, and cultural richness based on the theme “From Roots to Global Stage.” The समारोह was formally inaugurated by the worthy management including Chairman Griesh Gupta (Chief Guest), President Naresh Gupta, and Managing Director Sukhwinder Singh Kang through a graceful lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolising knowledge and enlightenment, followed by a vibrant balloon flying ceremony marking the commencement of the celebrations. The event was also graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Devinder Kumar, Professor Emeritus, along with other distinguished guests. In his address, Dr. Devinder Kumar emphasized the importance of blending academic excellence with cultural and creative pursuits. He encouraged students to actively participate in such platforms, as they help in building confidence, enhancing communication skills, and nurturing overall personality development. He appreciated the institution for providing such opportunities that contribute to the holistic growth of students. Addressing the gathering, President Mr. Naresh Gupta highlighted the importance of such events in shaping the overall personality of students. He emphasized that education is not limited to academics alone, but also includes cultural exposure, confidence building, and the development of leadership qualities. He appreciated the efforts of students and staff for putting together such a grand event and encouraged students to aim high and represent their roots on a global platform. The Annual Report of the institution was presented by the respected Principal Dr. Palwinder Kumar, who expressed pride in the achievements of the students and the continuous progress of the institute. He remarked that “Aarohan reflects the true spirit of our institution—where academics meet creativity, and discipline blends with joy.” He also appreciated the collective efforts of staff and students in making the event a grand success. The program began with a traditional opening, setting a graceful tone for the evening, after which the stage transformed into a vibrant platform of performances. Students showcased the richness of Indian culture through energetic Gidha and Bhangra performances, along with elegant classical dance presentations that beautifully represented cultural heritage. The audience was enthralled by the diversity and creativity displayed throughout the event. Adding glamour and innovation, the Fashion Designing Department presented a captivating fashion show, while the modelling showcase highlighted the confidence and talent of the students. A special attraction of the event was the powerful theatrical performance presented by Azad Rang Manch, Nanak, whose professional artists delivered a thought-provoking drama that left the audience mesmerized and conveyed a strong social message. Aarohan 2026 stood as a true reflection of teamwork, unity, and dedication, as all staff members of the institution worked collectively with great enthusiasm and coordination to make the event a grand success. Their tireless efforts and commitment ensured the smooth execution of the entire कार्यक्रम. The event concluded on a high note, leaving behind cherished memories and a renewed sense of unity and pride among the SHIMT family. Convocation Ceremony (दीक्षांत समारोह)  2026–  Shree Hanumat IMT, Goraya     Shree Hanumat Institute of Management hosts Convocation ceremony, 274 students graduate   Renowned academic Professor (Dr.) Susheel Mittal, Vice Chancellor of the I. K. Gujral Punjab Technical University of Kapurthala, and Chairman Shree Hanumat – IMT Sh. Greesh Gupta graced the event as Chief Guest.   Dr. Palwinder Kumar has briefed to media that Shree Hanumat Institute of Management & Technology, Goraya held its first convocation ceremony which saw 274 graduate. The ceremony was held on February 6 at the seminar hall. Students from the undergraduate, BBA, BCA, BCOM, BMLS, BHM, BTTM, and BSc. Fashion designing programmes were conferred degrees in a ceremony marked by thought-provoking speeches and distinguished recognitions.   Dr. Mittal said that technical and management education is playing an important role in making the youth self-reliant, innovative and job-oriented in today competitive era. Students should use the knowledge gained in building society and nation and make the spirit of continuous learning a part of their lives. Greesh Gupta, Chairman, College Management Committee, while congratulating the graduating students, said that this convocation is a memorable and proud milestone in the academic life of the students, which will remain etched in their sweet memories throughout their lives. He also reiterated the institutes commitment to sustainable development and quality education.    Board of Management, President Naresh Gupta, Managing Director S. Sukhwinder Singh Kang and advisor S. Bhaddapinder Singh Garcha Board of Management attended the event. Sh. Naresh Gupta President SHIMT delivered welcome speech which sets the tone and creates a warm atmosphere. It builds connection, clarifies purpose, and ensures the program starts on a positive note.    The convocation ceremony was anchored by Ms. Versha and Mr. Harsh Dhar, whose eloquence and composure ensured that the proceedings were conducted with grace and dignity. Prominent amongst others present on the occasion included as guest of honour Dr. Vikram Sandhu (Chairman & Head, University Business School, Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar), Prof. Dr. Devinder Kumar (Professor Emeritus & Director, Faculty of Social Sciences & Languages), Dr. A. R. Khan (Professor & Principal, Gurseva Group of Colleges) and Dr. Sukhdeep Kaur (Professor & Head, Gurseva Group of Colleges).    The convocation ceremony of Shree Hanumat-IMT was graced by the proud presence of faculty members, including Head of Departments & Assistant Professor Deepak Thakur( Head Hotel Management) with team Mr. Harsh Dhar, Mr. Tarun Sharma, Mr. Pulkit Gautam, Muskan sharma, Ms. Jyoti Sharma (Head, Department of Commerce) with Ms. Versha, Mr. Simranjeet, Ms. Priya and Ms. Priya Dhir, Ms. Kashish Miglani (Head of Department Management) with team Ms. Anudeep Kaur, Ms. Anjali, Ms. Somiya, Mr. Rohan, Dr. Pushpa Sharma (Head BCA) with team Mr. Akshit Ahir, Ms. Jagdip, Mr. Happy and Ms. Harsha Kashyap ( Head BMLS) with team Dr. Narinderjit Kaur and Ms. Arshiya .
