“On the auspicious occasion of Independence Day, the Hotel Management Department at Shree Hanumat-IMT organized a vibrant activity, ‘Theme Restaurant’, showcasing the diverse flavors of Indian cuisine. Students enthusiastically prepared an array of traditional dishes, from fragrant snacks to flavorful curries, and from crispy breads to sweet Tiranga coconut Burfi. As one student aptly put it, ‘Food is the essence of Indian culture, and today we’re proud to share that with our peers and faculty.’ The event not only celebrated India’s culinary heritage but also provided a platform for students to demonstrate their culinary skills, creativity, and teamwork. As the department’s faculty in-charge noted, ‘This activity aimed to foster a sense of patriotism and unity among our students, while also honing their hospitality skills.’ The ‘Theme Restaurant’ activity was a resounding success, with participants and attendees alike relishing the delicious food and festive atmosphere. It was a fitting tribute to the spirit of Independence Day, celebrating the country’s rich cultural diversity and the next generation of hospitality professionals.
